Refund policy

If it isn’t right, you get your money back.

Effective date: 19 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 19 August 2026  ·  Version 1.0

The window, how to ask, how long it takes, and the few things that cannot be refunded. One page, no conditions hidden further down.

Pre-launch status. Paid plans are not live in Runecast AI. Nothing is purchasable, no card is requested, and no payment has ever been taken — so today there is nothing to refund. This policy is published in advance and takes effect on the day paid plans open, which will be announced in the app and by email beforehand.

The short version

Subscriptions: 14 days. Write to us within 14 days of a charge and we refund it in full — no interrogation, no retention script.

How: one email to info@runecast.ai. How long: we answer within 2 business days and the money is sent back within 10 business days of approval.

Bought through Apple or Google? Those refunds are theirs to issue, not ours — section 6 tells you where to go.

1Who this policy is with

Runecast AI is operated by Pulse Licensing Corp., a company incorporated in the Republic of Panama, of PH Metric, Via Brazil, #18-B, Panama City, Panama, Republic of Panama, 7182 (“Runecast AI”, “we”, “us”). This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and should be read with them and with our pricing page.

2The refund window

You have 14 days from the date of a charge to ask for a refund of that charge. That applies to a first payment and to a renewal alike, and to both the monthly and the yearly billing period.

Inside those 14 days we do not ask you to justify it. Tell us you want the charge back and we return it in full, and your subscription ends at the same time.

After 14 days a charge is not automatically refundable — but write to us anyway if something went wrong. Section 5 lists the situations where we refund regardless of the window, and in practice we would rather fix a problem than keep money from someone who is unhappy.

3How to ask

Email info@runecast.ai from the address on your account and tell us:

  • the date and amount of the charge (it is on your receipt email);
  • whether you want the subscription cancelled as well — a refund inside the window ends it by default, so say if you would rather keep it running;
  • anything you want us to know about what went wrong. It is optional, and it helps.

There is no form, no phone queue and no chatbot in the way. A person reads it.

4How long it takes

  • We reply within 2 business days to confirm the refund or to ask one clarifying question.
  • We send the money back within 10 business days of approving it, to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • Your bank then takes its own time — usually 3 to 10 further business days for the credit to appear on a statement. That part is outside our control.

5Always refunded, window or not

Some things are our fault, and the 14 days do not apply to them. We refund in full if:

  • you were charged twice for the same period;
  • you were charged after cancelling;
  • you paid for a plan and the features it unlocks did not work, and we could not fix it;
  • a one-time reading was paid for and never delivered, or failed to generate;
  • the charge was not made by you and not authorised by you.

If your card has been used without your permission, email us before contacting your bank if you can — we can usually return the money faster than a dispute can.

6What is not refundable

  • A one-time reading that has been generated and delivered. It is written for you on demand and cannot be un-delivered, so it is final once it exists — except where section 5 applies, or where your own law says otherwise.
  • Time already used on a cancelled subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are currently in. If you are inside the 14-day window, ask for the refund instead of just cancelling.
  • Partial months or unused days outside the refund window. We do not pro-rate.
  • Purchases made through Apple or Google. Those stores take the payment, so only they can return it. Use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page or Google Play’s order history. If they decline and you believe you are covered by section 5, write to us and we will help.
  • Accounts closed for abuse — fraud, payment fraud, or a serious breach of the Terms & Conditions.

7Cancelling is not the same as refunding

Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the period you paid for runs out. Refunding returns money already taken and ends access at once. You can do either. If you want both the money back and to stop, ask for the refund — it does the cancelling too.

Cancelling never deletes your account or your readings. Deleting your account is a separate action inside the app, and it is permanent.

8Your rights under your own law

Consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and many other places have statutory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights that exist whatever a policy page says. Those rights apply on top of everything above. Nothing here removes them, nothing here shortens them, and the fact that we are registered in Panama does not change them.

Where your law gives you more than this policy does, your law wins.

9Before you dispute a charge

If something looks wrong on your statement, one email usually settles it in a day. Raising a dispute with your bank instead takes weeks, and it closes the account it relates to while it runs. Try us first: info@runecast.ai.
